The Weed Snatcher

Pesky weeds and grass growing up in a sidewalk or driveway are unsightly. I got tired of scraping up my fingers and completely ruining my fingernails trying to pull these pesky plants out by hand. I do not want to use weed killers as I personally feel they are just plain bad for the environment. So, I started looking at more organic options to getting the weeds out. That’s when I found “The Weed Snatcher” on The Grommet’s website.

This handy tool has a telescoping fiberglass pole IMG_0317with an easy to hold rubber grip on top. The Weed Snatcher comes with two different sized metal weeding heads. These both have plastic wheels so you can easily pull the Weed Snatcher along. These heads are easily interchangeable with a simple push of a button. Pop one off and pop the other one right on.

The heads are meant to work on cracks and crevices as well as between decking. An easy option to clean stuff out from between the boards. What worked best for me, was the larger head in our driveway cracks. The directions say to “Run the tool along the cracks/crevices in your desired surface in a back and forth motion.”A simple run of the hook down the crack and under the weeds popped em right up. No scraped fingers or harsh chemicals.

Light weight construction (only 3.8 pounds )and telescoping pole make it comfortable to use for most anyone. A simple spray of the head with a garden hose for clean up.

Description:

The Weed Snatcher eliminates using chemicals—as well as bending and kneeling on the ground—to get rid of weeds in cracks in places like the driveway, walkway, or patio. The tool’s telescoping handle keeps you upright while wheels guide the sturdy metal weeding hook along. There are two interchangeable heads to tackle different areas, too.
