Love at The Thanksgiving Parade – Hallmark Channel Original Movie World Premiere

We got a chance to check out Hallmark Channel’s “Love at the Thanksgiving Day Parade” before it premiers November 4. I have to say I really enjoyed the movie. Hubby did too. “Love at the Thanksgiving Day Parade” brings romance to the holiday season in true Hallmark fashion. This is the story of two totally different people coming together amidst the fun and fanfare of Chicago’s Thanksgiving Day parade.

‘LOVE AT THE THANKSGIVING DAY PARADE’

Hallmark Channel Original Movie World Premiere
Sunday, November 4 (8p.m. ET/PT, 7C)
Starring: Autumn Reeser, Antonio Cupo, Ben Cotton

Two former arch enemies, each desperate to put on the best Thanksgiving Day Parade in the history of Chicago, will throw caution to the wind (and, directly into the path of marching bands, horses and riders) and fall in love before the last brightly festooned float rounds the corner in “Love At the Thanksgiving Day Parade,” a Hallmark Channel Original Movie starring Autumn Reeser (“No Ordinary Family”) and Antonio Cupo (“Bomb Girls”), premiering Sunday, November 4 (8p.m. ET/PT, 7C). Ben Cotton (“Hellcats”) also stars in the film.
Chicago native Emily Jones (Reeser) loves her city, and has dedicated her career to coordinating its beloved Thanksgiving Day parade every year. This year, Emily is hoping for a memorable holiday and anticipating a long-awaited proposal from her long-distance boyfriend Brian (Cotton). Then, the parade director hires a wealthy development consultant, Henry Williams (Cupo), to analyze the finances of the parade and increase profits. Immediately writing Henry off as a privileged playboy, Emily worries he will ruin the joyful spirit of the parade, not knowing how much it means to the city like she does. As the two are forced to work together to pull off a successful production, Emily is determined to show Henry she’s in charge. But when Emily suffers a sudden setback, she starts to rely on Henry to help her through it, and suddenly realizes she might be falling for him. As Thanksgiving draws nearer, can Emily confess her true feelings and end the feud, while still putting on the parade of her dreams?

It’s Christmas, Carol Hallmark Channel Original Movie

Hallmark brings new life to Dickens “A Christmas Carol” with their their film”It’s Christmas , Carol”. This is another great movie from the Hallmark Channel this holiday season. Carol a Professional Publisher loses track of the reason for the season, and life in general until she receives a visit from her dead boss Eve Miller. Eve takes Carol on an unusual twist on Dickens tale to teach her how to be happy again.

IT’S CHRISTMAS, CAROL!’
Hallmark Channel Original Movie World Premiere
Sunday, November 18 (8p.m. ET/PT, 7C)
Starring: Carrie Fisher, Emmanuelle Vaugier, Carson Kressley

Charles Dickens lives! Well, sort of, anyway. The legendary spirit of his timeless classic is alive and well this Christmas with the premiere of “It’s Christmas, Carol!,” a Hallmark Channel Original Movie World Premiere that weaves a fresh spin on the Dickens tale A Christmas Carol, Sunday, November 18 (8p.m. ET/PT, 7C).  Emmanuelle Vaugier (“Two and a Half Men”) heads a charming cast that also includes two-time Emmy® nominee Carrie Fisher (“30 Rock,” “Wishful Drinking”) and Emmy® winner Carson Kressley (“Queer Eye for the Straight Guy”). Vaugier is Carol Huffman, a ruthless Chicago book publisher and not what anyone would call a nice woman. Her staff can’t stand the sight of this workaholic Scrooge. In fact, Fred (Kressley), one of her employees, is trying to rally the staff to revolt. Against this backdrop of seasonal gloom,Carol is shocked to run into her old boyfriend from 15 years before, Ben (Tygh Runyan, “SGU Stargate Universe”), a decent guy who craved a life rather than simply a career. Their meeting ends with Carol storming off in a huff. But as she’s trying to re-gather her wits, she suddenly finds herself staring at the ghost of the publishing house’s beloved and very much deceased founder, Eve (Fisher). Now, she can’t get away, because Ghost Eve is determined to take Carol on a little journey back through her past, as well as her present and future. Don’t you just hate when that happens? Well, Carol hates it, too, particularly when she can’t defend all of the misery she’s left in her wake. The good news is that after hanging with the ghost, Carol emerges determined to make amends beginning Christmas morning. Might she wind up happier? Could she find true love? Why, you bet your Bob Cratchit!

“Hitched for the Holidays” Hallmark Channel Original Movie World Premiere

Hallmark Channel’s Christmas line up continues with “Hitched for the Holidays”. This is a wonderful movie about a couple of single New Yorkers whose families can’t seem to get past the fact that they are single. The two meet up and go through the holidays in humorous fashion. One family being Jewish and the other Catholic brings hilarity to the film. Loved it, so did Hubby. Great for the whole family. Give it a watch.

‘HITCHED FOR THE HOLIDAYS’
Hallmark Channel Original Movie World Premiere
Sunday, November 25 (8p.m. ET/PT, 7C)
Starring: Joey Lawrence, Emily Hampshire, Marilu Henner
Christmas and Hanukkah force two New Yorkers to find a date during the holiday season and pose as a happy couple to fool their meddling families, friends and co-workers. The World Premiere of “Hitched for the Holidays,” a Hallmark Channel Original Movie premiering Holiday 2012, stars five-time Golden Globe® nominee Marilu Henner (“Taxi”), Joey Lawrence (“Melissa and Joey”) and Emily Hampshire (“Ruby Gloom”). Linda Darlow (“Da Vinci’s Inquest”), Serge Houde (“50/50”) and L. Harvey Gold (“Endgame”) co-star in the romantic comedy. Hallmark Channel’s “Countdown to Christmas” is the biggest holiday destination on television, premiering more original holiday programs than any other network.
When commitment-phobe Rob Marino (Lawrence) breaks up with his girlfriend before Thanksgiving, he is criticized by his big Italian family about his inability to keep a relationship through the holidays. Wanting to prove them wrong and fulfill his dying grandmother’s (Paula Shaw, “Mr. Young”) wish to see him happy in love, Rob goes online and finds Julie (Hampshire), another single New Yorker who’s meddling Jewish mom (Henner), has driven her to seek a temporary boyfriend. Rob and Julie agree to pose as a couple through the holidays to get their families off their backs. But things get complicated when Rob’s Catholic clan and Julie’s Jewish family get involved. With Christmas coming and Hanukkah around the corner, they double their efforts to keep the charade going, only to discover their fake feelings may be a little too real.

Hitched for the Holidays” is a Hitching Road Production. Michael Moran, Allen Lewis and Michael M. Scott are the executive producers. Harvey Kahn is the producer. Michael M. Scott directed from a script by Gary Goldstein.

Along with their adorable white husky pups Jingle and Bell, Andrew and Sofia catch the spirit of the season. Hallmark Channel announces that the network’s Original Animated Special “Jingle and Bell’s Christmas Star,” sequel to the network’s critically acclaimed, first-ever Original Animated Special, “Jingle All the Way” [OAD November 25, 2011], will premiere Holiday 2012.
