Traditional Medicinals Herbal Teas
Traditional Medicinals is an independently owned herbal tea company that believes in sustainability, pure ingredients and doing their best to help the environment. The company was formed in 1974 by “godmother of modern herbalism”, Rosemary Gladstar and environmentalist Drake Sadler. The collaboration of these two brought forth some truly amazing herbal teas. Let’s try out a few.
Tulsi with Ginger
A tender kiss of ginger accents the flavor of Indian grown Tulsi leaves to create an herbal tea with a slightly spicy after taste. Delicious.
Divine, nourishing and vibrant
Helps support a healthy response to stress without slowing you down. A fortifying cup of daily wellness.*
Reason to Love
Also known as “holy basil,” tulsi’s adaptogenic qualities certainly make it easier to adapt to whatever stress comes your way on life’s long road.* And with the addition of ginger’s digestive and warming benefits,* this gentle blend may feel like a real blessing.
Gentle, floral and earthy with a little touch of spice.
Rose Hips with Hibiscus
Savoriness abounds in this dusky blend. Adding a bit of honey makes this a very pleasant cup of herbal tea indeed.
Generous, hearty and sassy.
Tantalizes the taste buds and used for millennia to support everyday wellness.*
Reason to Love
In ancient Anglo-Saxon tradition, rose hips were strung together and worn by the hopeful to attract love. Legend has it that raiding Vikings fortified themselves with these berry-like fruits while invading foreign lands. During World War II, British children took doses of rose hip syrup when fresh foods were scarce. Today, we enjoy drinking it as a healthy beverage.*
Fruity, tangy and refreshing.
Turmeric with Meadowsweet and Ginger
The aroma of turmeric dances in the steam rising from my cup. The spicy flavor of ginger captivates my taste buds while meadowsweet leaves give an appealing almost comforting end note to this naturally caffeine free herbal tea.
Protective, wise and soothing.
Promotes healthy digestion and supports a healthy response to inflammation associated with exercise.*
Reason to Love
Inflammation might get a bad rap, but it really can be a useful signal after exercise. Our formula honors this indication with turmeric, a root praised by healers around the world. Reinforced by the power of meadowsweet— historically used much like turmeric—and ginger’s warming properties, our tea represents an herbal trifecta of ancient wisdom and soothing relief.*
Earthy and savory with a hint of spice.
