The Tea Spot

teaspotThe Tea Spot

Finding new and unique tea blends is fun. The Tea Spot has many to choose from. I was blessed to be able to try three of the great teas available from the Tea Spot. Let’s check em out.

Red Rocks

I got to choose the three flavors that I wanted to try. The Red Rocks description of Almonds and Bourbon immediately caught my eye. Obviously my first choice, by description alone. This rooibos herbal blend does not disappoint. It brews a beautiful reddish brown color. Red Rocks is smooth, full bodied and delicious. The vanilla aroma rises in the steam from the cup as I take a sip. Bits of almond flavor this blend perfectly. A touch of sweetener makes this a perfect cup of tea hot or cold.redrocks

Blender’s Notes:

Our blend of naturally caffeine–free South African red rooibos, vanilla, and almond bits is an herbal delight! Rooibos is full of antioxidants and healthy minerals such as calcium, potassium, magnesium, iron, zinc, copper, and fluoride. It has a wonderfully smooth flavor, and is a great cold buster as well as thirst quencher. It brews into a dark red liquor and has a naturally sweet, earthy scent, reminiscent of pipe–tobacco. You cannot over–steep this tea (the longer the better!) and it is fantastic by itself, or with cream and a bit of sweetener. Red Rocks is the perfect, healthy, all-around herbal tea – a favorite amongst athletes, kids, and moms.

bloodorangeBlood Orange Sachets, Organic

This is the kind of tea I would definitely add to a gift basket. The Blood Orange Sachets are absolutely beautiful. This floral scented tea has a deep dark coloring while steeping. Tastes amazing. The blood orange flavor really comes through. No sweetener needed her. Of course a bit of honey never hurt anyone.

Tasting Notes:

Our top-selling herbal tea is now certified organic and available in convenient sachets! This creamy blend of naturally caffeine–free organic rooibos, orange, and vanilla is herbal heaven! It brews into a dark red liquor with a naturally sweet, creamy body with a citrus twist, reminiscent of orange creamsicles and Orange Julius smoothies!

Lights Out, Organiclights-out

As it steeps, purple and grey streaks of flavor flow into the hot water. The end result, a medium dark grey colored perfectly wonderful cup of Lights Out Organic tea. The scents of lavender and mint dance in the air promising a relaxing evening indulgence. I personally like some added sweetness to help balance out the mint. Honey yet again does the job quite well. Delicious.

Blender’s Notes:

Our caffeine-free sleepy tea is specially formulated with delicious organic botanicals to help you unwind and find peace of mind.
