Leather craft is beautiful. I realize there are some of you that are thinking anyone that wears leather is mean. I do not think so. I am of the mind that eating beef is ok. I know that if cows were not killed for meat they would quickly overpopulate the land and starve for lack of feeding grounds. I personally do not want to see starving cattle. I also do not want to waste any part of the magnificent animal whose life was taken for me to have a meal. That is why I have no problem wearing leather. If you agree you will love “The Art of Leather Burning: Step-by-Step Pyrography Techniques” written by Lora Susan Irish.

This book not only teaches the reader pyrography techniques, it also shows how to create the leather crafts on which to display your new art form. Twelve easy to make projects are included. Instructions for using different styles of pyrography pens, which types of tips give what results and how to combine different techniques are covered in the book. Wonderful gift idea.

Project patterns are included in the back of the book.
