Reviews of Products I love

Go Green Food Packaging Giveaway

Go Green Food Packaging sent over quite a large package of their eco-friendly food packing for me to review. At first I thought what on earth am I going to do with all of these containers. Sure they are great if you are in food service. But me, I’m a blogger. I got to thinking and came up with several thoughts on the subject.  The crystal clear APET food storage trays are ideal from ambient to freezing temperatures but not recommended for heating. They can be overwrapped or film sealed. This is wonderful for picnic packaging or just taking your lunch to work. These are also perfect when you have left overs headed to the freezer. They stack very well.

Second thought I had was for organization. They fit well in my drawers and keep smaller items separated perfectly. As you can see in the pic they allow me to see the colors on my nail polishwhile keeping em all together. If they do happen to leak the spill will be caught in the bio-compostable food tray. I am working on a storage system for the shop to  use em as drawers for nuts, bolts, washers, screws and the like. These trays are really sturdy. The company says they are not for heating, but y’all know me. I had to test em out. I set one in the kitchen sink, just in case my test didn’t work. I poured hot coffee in it and guess what y’all. It held fine. Did not melt or lose stability at all. Like I said really sturdy. High quality material. If you were to use these in food service you would not have to worry about heavier foods in the trays. I wish our local grocer used such quality products.
