I never have learned much about knots. I have always been fortunate to have someone nearby that knew the exact knot we needed every time. I have finally decided that I need to know how to do more things for myself. I found out about a fantastic book from Ryland Peters called “50 Knots You Need to Know.
This book written by Marty Allen teaches you how to tie 50 knots essential for sailing, climbing, camping, and more. Easy to understand and filled with helpful illustrations of each knot. Love that this hardback book even comes with two pieces of practice cord to try out your new skills. Next time I need a knot tied, or untied, I am going to know how to do it myself.
