Thrive Breakfast from Shelf Reliance Giveaway

I am one of those people that believes in the importance of being prepared. Let’s face it you never know whats around the corner. A few years ago we had an extremely rare ice storm in Texas. It was so bad the state ran out of de-icer at the airports. We had a three inch thick layer of ice at the ranch so ya know we weren’t going anywhere. The twenty miles of driving up and down hills on the way to town didn’t need to be tried. Our local Wal-mart actually closed for several days. Some people lost power and we were grateful for the pantry. Aw the pantry. This is my way of being prepared. I try to have at least a weeks worth of food in there for our family. You know, just in case something like the ice storm happened.

Scrambled Egg Mix

I was really impressed with these. When ya mix em up per package directions they are ready to either be scrambled or used in your favorite recipe. Great flavor and Texture. You can tell they hired a chef to create these products.

THRIVE Scrambled Egg Mix is an all-natural and long-lasting dried egg product that will be a perfect addition to all your baked goods and egg dishes. THRIVE Scrambled Egg Mix contains no preservatives. They taste fresh and natural* and whip up quickly. Preparation Instructions: To reconstitute the equivalent of one egg: mix 2 tablespoons of THRIVE Scrambled Egg Mix with 3 tablespoons of water. Mix thoroughly. *Minimally processed, no artificial ingredients.

Sausage Crumbles – Freeze Dried

Well these smell awesome while they are soaking in the prep water. Really delicious. Hubby says he wouldn’t have known they were freeze dried If he hadn’t seen the container. So easy to prepare you can use em all year long.

THRIVE Sausage Crumbles are a sure crowd-pleaser in hash browns and scrambled eggs. Add these pre-cooked crumbles into cheesy casseroles or your favorite spaghetti sauce for added protein and taste.

Ratio of FD vs. Fresh:

2 1/2 C. FD Sausage Crumbles + 2 C. Water = 1lb. Fresh Sausage

Directions:

To make 1 lb. of sausage, combine 2 ½ cups THRIVE Sausage Crumbles with 2 cups warm water. Let stand for 15-20 minutes. Drain any excess water.

Instant Milk

Very easy to make. Simply mix with water and chill to desired cold level. Tastes great.

THRIVE Instant Milk powder dissolves instantly in water at any temperature. It is made from 100% milk and it is so delicious you will want to drink it with every meal.

Powdered Milk and Instant Milk–What’s the Difference?

THRIVE Powdered Milk is intended for use in cooking and baking. THRIVE Instant Milk, on the other hand, is for drinking.

Directions:

Combine milk powder and water to make delicious THRIVE Instant Milk. Once reconstituted, refrigerate to retain freshness. For best results, refrigerate at least 30 minutes before drinking. Proportions may be altered to suit individual taste.

Water + Powder Yields

1 c + 3 tbsp = 1 c milk

4 c + 3/4 to 1 c = 1 qt milk

16 c + 3 c = 1 g milk
