The Ginger People Giveaway

I don’t know about y’all , but I love ginger. Not only is it delicious, it also has medicinal values. Some even call it an aphrodisiac. Never a bad thing, right? I know most y’all only think about ginger in cookies or Oriental foods. Ginger is so much more versatile than that.  We were fortunate enough to get to sample a wonderful selection of products from a great company called “The Ginger People”. These guys are awesome. Let’s check out the delicious things they sent me.

Hot Ginger Jalapeno Sauce

I don’t even know where to begin on this one. This is an absolutely perfect hot sauce. Excellent on chips, eggs or anything you want to give a kick too. Wonderful. The blend of heat from the ginger and jalapeno is awesome. Addictive.

The go-to sauce for scrambled eggs, omelettes, roasted potatoes and burgers. Makes a mean peppery-hot Bloody Mary and also shows off its talents as a creative and delicious sauce in enchiladas.

Crystallized Ginger Gift Jar

This product is great as a candy and wonderful in cookies, granola. Has a touch of heat with the perfect amount of sweet. Delicious.

This traditional ginger jar holds one of the most treasured cut of crystallized ginger.

Ginger Spread

We had this one on toast using the enclosed recipe for a ginger honey spread. Toast, butter, ginger spread and a touch of honey makes a great change from the usual toast and jelly. Super. We also used it in the ginger pancakes recipe below.

This versatile past is made of sweet baby ginger and pure cane sugar (yes, that’s all). A sublime swirl on toast, over baked chicken, pork chops and roasted carrots. Also spread over gourmet cheese.

Organic Ginger Syrup

This is the perfect topping for pancakes. Love to change things up a bit in the kitchen as often as possible. Why cook the same thing over and over. Trying something new is fun. Look at how amazing our ginger pancakes with organic ginger syrup turned out. Y’all gotta try this stuff.

Golden ginger-infused syrup to drizzle over fruit salads, ice cream, or cakes. Swirl the sweetness of ginger into a warm bowl of oatmeal or glaze chicken, roasted carrots or sweet potatoes.
