Kidde – Kitchen Fire Extinguisher Giveaway

I have been looking for a good kitchen fire extinguisher for quite awhile and couldn’t find one. When Kidde sent over their Kitchen Fire Extinguisher for us to review I was thrilled. It is a really good idea to have fire safety equipment available especially in the kitchen. Fires can start so easily. Putting a towel or hot pad to close to the stove. Over heating grease or oil. So many simple things can cause immense damage. Having an extinguisher close at hand can stop these instances from becoming serious in seconds. Cooking is the number one cause of fires in the home.

Let’s check it out: Fairly light weight for a fire extinguisher this one shouldn’t be hard for anyone who need it to use. Easy to spray with squeeze nozzle. Comes complete with wall mount assembly so you can put it where you want to.I love that the spray is non toxic so it’s not going to ruin everything in your kitchen. I even like the color. It’s white instead of that bright red color we are all used to. This way it matches your decor better. So safety and design mingle.

How It Works

Kidde’s Kitchen Fire Extinguisher has a unique, specially designed nozzle that minimizes the chance of oil splashing by gently dispersing the dry chemical agent in an arc; whereas, a traditional fire extinguisher may cause the oil to splash with its straight stream.

Its non-toxic agent is similar to baking soda, so it won’t damage your stove and makes clean up easy.

Plus, the lightweight cylinder allows for one-handed operation, and the easy-to-read pressure gauge tells you the extinguisher is charged and ready for use.
